We recently sold an Austral Australian-made fold down clothesline to a customer in Port Douglas, Far North Queensland, for installation at their beachfront holiday home.
The customer was adamant that they wanted an Australian-made clothesline that would be able to withstand the harsh weather experienced at the beachfront property. With this in mind, we recommended the Austral Standard Fold Down Clothesline.
This Australian-made clothesline features a single frame and will handle the drying requirements of a large family.
Austal Clotheslines comes in a wide range of colours, including the popular Colorbond range. This customer opted for the Classic Cream colour so it would match the exterior paint colour of the property fence where it was mounted.

Austral Standard Fold Down Clothesline
- Suitable for 1-4 people.
- Size: 2.4m wide x 1.5m deep. Area required: 2.5m x 1.8m.
- Line Space: The standard has 12 lines with 28.5m of line space. Optional line space 13.5cm for wider spacing or 6.5cm for narrower spacing.
- Colours: Classic Cream, Surfmist and Woodland Grey. Colourbond colours include Black, Dune, Heritage Green, Monument, Paperbark, Shale Grey Wallaby & White (all colours may not be available in some states).

Delivery, Returns and Warranty Information
Please ensure you leave clear delivery instructions in case you are not at home.
Returns : You have seven (7) calendar days to return an item from the date of delivery. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Your item must be in the same packaging. Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase. More information »
Delivery Locations : We deliver to all Metro Areas on the East Coast and in South Australia. Outer-lying areas, including Far North and Regional Queensland, Regional NSW, Regional Victoria, and Regional South Australia, are partly services by our couriers however we are limited by their delivery zones. If you would like to check if we can deliver to you, prior to purchase, feel free to contact us. When ordering clotheslines, letterboxes and spare parts from our website, you will not be told if you are out of area when you check out via the shopping cart. If you are out of our delivery zones, our friendly team will be in touch to provide some alternatives.
Free Shipping: The free shipping policy offered on our website is for delivery to most major cities. Unfortunately, some transport company’s door-to-door services are not available in all regional areas. Please be aware that you may have to pick up your order from the transport company’s closest depot, or incur an additional delivery charge (if the transport company’s policy extends to this service).
Shipping Times: After receiving your order, all products are generally shipped the next business day (unless otherwise stated).
